A synthetic inorganic chemist with a primary research focus on the applications of environmentally benign main-group complexes in small molecule activation towards more sustainable chemical processes.

To date, Matthew has published over 35 research papers in peer-reviewed chemistry journals and has presented his research at a variety of conferences across the globe. Matthew is interested in science communication where he has played an active role in using Blender to create animations and art work to simplify research findings (some of these can be found in the media section of this website).
