PhD Position in Molecular Bismuth Chemistry

I am excited to announce a fully-funded PhD Scholarship in Molecular Bismuth Chemistry (and beyond) is now available in our research group at Flinders University. This project will focus on the design of bismuth complexes and their use in hydrogen evolution reactions.

We are looking for a driven candidate with a background in synthetic organometallic chemistry and experience using air-sensitive techniques (glovebox and Schlenk line). Applicants should hold or (or expect to obtain) an Australian Honours degree (1 or 2A) or similar and be available to commence as a full-time PhD student at Flinders University in mid-2026 (or earlier).

Interested applicants should send a CV, academic transcript, and contact details of two referees to matthew.evans@flinders.edu.au
